AeroWash Drop Eyewash Station in Metal Cabinet
This eyewash cabinet puts a full emergency eyewash station behind a clear perspex front in a sturdy white metal case. Inside is the AeroWash Drop eyewash station with its mirror and two 500ml bottles of sterile 0.9% sodium chloride, each with a built-in eye cup. It suits workshops, factories, laboratories, commercial kitchens, cleaning and chemical stores, and anywhere grit, dust or splashes can get into an eye.
The cabinet keeps the bottles clean and out of harm’s way on a busy wall, while the clear front lets anyone see straight away where the eyewash is and that both bottles are in place. For a sheltered first aid room the open Drop eyewash station on its own is the lighter option.
Features
- Metal cabinet with perspex front: protects the station from dust, grime and knocks, and keeps the bottles visible at a glance.
- Two 500ml sterile saline bottles: 0.9% sodium chloride, ready to use, so a second bottle is there if one eye needs a longer flush or two people are hurt.
- Built-in eye cups: each bottle has a moulded eye cup that directs the flow onto the eye.
- Integrated mirror: helps the injured person see the eye and locate grit or debris.
- Easy to refill: takes the Drop 500ml replacement bottles, so the station stays in service after use.
- Carry handle: a handle on top of the cabinet makes it easy to lift into place or move to a new site.
How to use
- Open the cabinet and lift out a bottle.
- Remove the cap and safety seal.
- Tilt the head back, hold the eyelids open and place the eye cup over the eye.
- Squeeze the bottle gently to flush the eye, rolling the eye to rinse all of it.
- Keep flushing and use the second bottle if needed. Seek medical advice after any eye injury, and follow the chemical’s safety data sheet for chemical splashes.
- Replace used bottles straight away and check expiry dates regularly.
For irrigation of the eye and minor wounds only. Do not use if the seal is broken or the solution is past its expiry date. Discard any unused solution once a bottle is opened. Always follow the directions for use.

FAQs
What is the difference between this and the standard eyewash station? The bottles and station are the same Drop eyewash station. This version comes mounted inside a metal cabinet with a perspex front, which keeps it cleaner and better protected in dusty or busy areas.
Can I refill it? Yes. Replace used bottles with Drop 500ml eyewash bottles (AWDREF500).
How long do the bottles last? Unopened bottles have a 36-month shelf life from manufacture. Check the expiry date on each bottle and replace any opened bottle after use.
