AeroInstrument Sharp/Blunt First Aid Scissors 13cm
Sharp/blunt scissors are the classic first aid kit scissors. One blade ends in a sharp point for trimming tape and dressings precisely; the other ends in a rounded blunt tip that slides along the skin, so a bandage can be cut away without cutting the casualty. At 13cm they fit the scissor loop of a standard kit yet are long enough to cut cleanly through gauze, tape and light fabric.
The polished stainless steel resists corrosion in a kit that may sit unused for months, and the precisely ground blades meet at the pivot for a smooth, controlled cut.
Sold individually as a kit refill, with quantity pricing for workplaces and kit assemblers. For clothing, denim or seatbelts, choose heavy-duty shears.

FAQs
What are scissors used for in a first aid kit? Cutting dressings, gauze, tape and bandages to size, and cutting away a bandage when a dressing needs to be checked.
Which blade goes against the skin? The blunt, rounded blade. It slides along the skin so the sharp blade cuts only the material.
Sharp/blunt scissors, Lister scissors or shears: what is the difference? Sharp/blunt scissors are the compact kit scissors for dressings. Lister scissors have an angled blade for cutting bandages, and heavy-duty shears cut clothing, denim and seatbelts.
Can these scissors be sterilised? They are supplied non-sterile for first aid use and are not intended for surgical use. Clean and wipe them with an alcohol swab between uses.
