Superior Transparency
Opsite Flexifix provides a crystal-clear, see-through coating that allows for continuous monitoring of wounds without the need for removal. This transparency ensures that healthcare providers can observe the healing process in real time, reducing the frequency of unnecessary dressing changes and minimizing patient discomfort.
Extended Durability
Crafted from high-quality polyurethane, this film is resistant to water, bacteria, and other external contaminants. Its long-lasting durability ensures consistent, reliable protection for various wound types, from minor cuts and abrasions to post-surgical incisions.
Highly Breathable
The film allows skin to breathe, facilitating an optimal healing environment by evaporating excess moisture and reducing the risk of maceration.
Flexible and Conformable
Opsite Flexifix boasts an unparalleled level of flexibility, allowing it to conform seamlessly to the most challenging anatomical contours, including joints and awkward body areas. This adaptability ensures a snug, secure fit that promotes better healing outcomes.
Waterproof Barrier
Fully waterproof, Opsite Flexifix protects wounds from showering and external fluids, giving patients the freedom to maintain their daily routines without compromising their care.

How to Use
To retain a primary wound dressing
Step 1: Wash hands before and after handling the dressing (Fig 1).
Step 2: Apply the primary wound dressing on the skin according to the instructions for use. Make sure the surrounding skin is clean and dry (Fig 2).
Step 3: Cut the roll to the desired length (Fig 3).
Step 4: Stretch the film away from the cut in the backing paper (printed ‘Remove First 1’) to make the backing paper easier to remove (Fig 4).
Step 5: Remove the smallest part of the backing paper printed 1. Folding the dressing lengthways can simplify this operation (Fig 5).
Step 6: Apply the exposed adhesive then remove the second part of the backing paper and smooth down the edges (Fig 6).
Step 7: Remove the green carrier grid marked ‘3’ by lifting and pulling away using the pre-lifted edge along the centre of the green carrier. Repeat to remove the other side (Fig 7.) Smooth down the edges of the film again.
Step 8: For larger wound dressings repeat the application until the whole dressing is secured.
