Cleaning and Maintenance
The compressor nebuliser devices are suitable for external surface cleaning only, after each use with approved CE-marked disinfectant wipes, for the lifetime of the device. (Refer to Information for Use booklet for further details). Consumables (for single patient – multiple use)
- Detach consumables from the compressor nebuliser.
- Disassemble all parts, including the nebuliser chamber.
- Discard any residual medication.
- Rinse all consumables in warm washing-up detergent, ensuring the detergent flows through the driveline thoroughly.
- Rinse all parts with clean water.
- Drain the driveline, assemble and attach the driveline and medication chamber to the outlet filter of the compressor nebuliser.
- Turn on the compressor nebuliser for a couple of minutes to push all residual moisture from the driveline and jet holes. Detach and disassemble.
- Place all parts on a dry lint-free cloth to dry thoroughly before use or storage
